All artworks must be created by the applicant and of professional quality.
Work will not be accepted if it is a mass-produced item, made from castings from commercial molds or kits.
During the tour, each artist must accompany their own work. Meaning the work cannot be represented during the event by commercial dealers or agents.
Studios may not display or attempt to sell artwork from artists that are not currently participating in ICAST.
All work must be original work made by the artist. Artists may sell reproductions of their art if signed, numbered, and clearly marked “Reproductions” on front or back of work.
Participating artists must commit to show during all event hours.
HOST STUDIO: The artist who is hosting their studio (Host Artist), must show in his/her own studio. All Host Applicants must have a studio in Indiana county. Commercial storefronts and/or showrooms that are regularly open to the public during business hours are not eligible to participate. Please make sure the roads to your studio are accessible with no parking restriction and your neighbors are willing to tolerate the flow of visitors. Having liability insurance added to your homeowner's policy for the event is suggested.
Artists are responsible for collecting and paying to Pennsylvania Department of Revenue, Pennsylvania Sales Tax of 6%.
INDIVIDUAL ARTISTS: Will be guest artists in a host studio. It is suggested that each guest artist have an idea of which host studio they will be a guest of before applying.
Contact ICAST if you are in need of a host studio.
EVENT FEES:
Application Review Fee: $25 (non-refundable)
Participation Fee - Host Studio: $250 ($15 Reimbursement for every guest artist hosted)
Individual Artist: $150
Refunds:
50% of the Participation Fee will be returned to artists who cancel and notify ICAST at least 30 days after acceptance (must be received in writing.) No refunds after that date.
No refunds will be made for weather-related cancellations, orders of local authorities, or any act of God.
ICAST reserves the right to reject any work it considers unsuitable. Contact us with questions. No refund will be given if the artist is ejected from the event for violation of rules.
